Following is an overview of the step-by-step procedure we follow when performing a manuscript evaluation:

1. You send us a hard copy of your manuscript, along with your payment for the service.
2. When we receive your manuscript and your payment, we send you a statement for your records via email.
3. We begin work on your manuscript by line editing the first few pages for free.
4. Next, we annotate the manuscript as we continue to read -- noting any particularly strong points, as well as any weak areas, right in the margins of the text.
5. Then, we prepare a detailed evaluation form that offers you additional valuable feedback.
6. When the critique is complete, we return your manuscript and critique to you via postal mail.
